The 2019 Scholarship Application Will Be Available February 1st 2019

Scholarship applicants should meet the following Dream 4 It criteria:

    • High school seniors who will be entering an accredited college or university, fall 2019 as a freshman student (applicants entering a 4-year or 2-year institution for a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree are eligible.
    • Submit three letters of reference addressed to the Dream 4 It Foundation, MEGS Scholarship Selection Committee
    • Submit an official letter that outlines community/public work and achievements, if applicable. Additionally, you may also include a copy of your resume
    • Average GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Applicants are required to submit three (3) letters of recommendation. Letters can be submitted by the following:

1. Administrator or Teacher from your current high school
2. Personal or Character references that reflect active participation in church, civic, or social organizations and activities.

  • The essay should provide the scholarship review committee with the applicant’s “Dream” for their future. The essay should be a minimum of 300 words (one page single spaced; two pages double spaced, maximum). Your essay should not exceed two (2) typed pages.

Funds for the Mark Edward Griffin Memorial Scholarship Fund are also reviewed based on the criteria below:

1. A resident of the state of Georgia (can be attending a school outside of the state), OR
2. Acceptance at Towson State University, OR
3. Acceptance at an accredited college or university in the State of Georgia
